Women have different healthcare needs at different times of life, including adolescence, the childbearing years, middle age and beyond. At Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare we offer a full range of services designed for every stage of a woman’s life from preventive care to a full range of specialized services. What’s more, our personalized care tends to our patients’ and their families’ emotional and physical health.

Our staff is committed to finding ways to improve the health of women throughout their lives. Every year more than 2,000 babies are born at the Birthplace, we perform thousands of breast imaging procedures, and hundreds of women attend one of our many free community seminars on the latest women’s health topics.

Our pediatric unit located at the St. Luke's Campus cares for children age 17 and younger in a family friendly environment. The 14 bed unit includes both private and semi-private rooms, as well as isolation rooms. While the pediatric unit is primarily for our younger patients, there are times when the census of patients in the hospital will make it necessary for adults will be cared for in this unit.
