Clinician*
Responsible for developing, conducting and evaluating in-service programs, orientation and continuing education for nurses, students and other staff in specified clinical area. Develops educational policies and procedures. Serves as a resource person to staff and management. Participates in Performance Improvement activities; serves on special committees as needed and reports to the education department of the organization.
- Current Bachelor’s in Nursing degree - Three years of Dialysis experience - Certification in Nephrology (if not certified then certification will be required within one year) - Documented experience and expertise in clinical area - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Concentration needed to assimilate information from many different sources - Basic computer knowledge - Ability to operate equipment: projectors, audiovisual equipment, cameras, other equipment used in instruction and patient care - Excellent presentation skills - Excellent attendance record Preferred: - Master’s in Nursing
