After Breast Cancer Support Group Meeting - May 10
On Saturday, May 10, 2014, the After Breast Cancer (ABC) Support Group will meet at 11am in the Community Room at the Center for Rehabilitation and Continuing Care Services on the St. Luke’s Campus, 1650 Champlin Avenue, Utica. ABC meetings are free and open to the public.
The May meeting is titled “Lymphedema” and Margaret Celebi, PT, DPT, an outpatient lymphedema therapist at The Regional Rehabilitation Center at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare will lead the discussion. This meeting will cover common lymphedema issues many women face after surgery or treatment for breast cancer.
The ABC Support Group was created by women who have had breast cancer. The group is dedicated to providing education, information and emotional support to women and men who are facing biopsy, surgery or recovery from breast cancer.
