Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare Foundation’s Wine Tasting and Auction Raised More Than $35,000 for St. Luke’s Home

The Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH) Foundation’s annual Wine Tasting and Auction benefitting St. Luke’s Home was held Saturday, September 22, 2012, at the Sadaquada Golf Club in Whitesboro. The event raised more than $35,000 for St. Luke’s Home.
St. Luke’s Home is a 202-bed facility with a 41-bed subacute rehabilitation unit. Proceeds from the Wine Tasting and Auction continue to benefit the residents who make St. Luke’s Home their home. A portion of this year’s proceeds will be used for special equipment for the St. Luke’s Home Gazebo. The gazebo will provide a pleasant and safe area for residents to enjoy the outdoors and attend picnics and special functions.
“The strong support we received from the community for this year’s auction was incredible,” said Bonnie Woods, chairwoman of the FSLH Foundation’s Wine Tasting and Auction Committee. “We deeply appreciate the support for St. Luke’s Home and thank everyone who participated in this enjoyable event.”
The live auction featured packages donated by Constellation Brands, Inc. of Victor, New York, as well as a rare set of three Opus One bottles from across the decades.
The Wine Tasting and Auction was sponsored by Associated Medical Professionals of NY, PLLC, Constellation Brands, Inc., Faxton St. Luke’s Volunteer Association, First Source Federal Credit Union, Fust Charles Chambers LLP, Hummel’s Office Plus and the Hummel Family, Mohawk Hospital Equipment, Inc. and Sodexo.
