On Thursday, December 19, 2013, Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSLH) will hold a remembrance service in memory of all FSLH patients who passed away in 2013. Families, friends and caregivers are invited to attend the service which begins at 7pm in the Chapel at St. Luke’s Home in the Center for Rehabilitation and Continuing Care Services, 1650 Champlin Avenue, Utica.
The service will feature musical accompaniment by the Exodus musical group.
“For many, this will be the first holiday season they’ve celebrated without their loved one,” said Deacon Paul Lehmann, hospital chaplain at FSLH. “This remembrance service is our way of helping families embrace the memory of their loved ones and cope through moments of sadness.”
The service is coordinated by the Spiritual Care Office at FSLH. The office provides spiritual guidance and support to patients, residents and families of all denominations.
