As medical director of the Stroke Center at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare since 2006, Dr. Brehaut is instrumental in building and maintaining a cutting-edge, evidence-based program for the Stroke Center.
Dr. Brehaut holds his medical degree from Cebu Doctors College of Medicine and completed a Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in Family Practice, Hospice and Palliative Care, and has attained a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics. He has obtained significant post-graduate education in cerebrovascular disease and stroke.

Angelina M. Roche, RN, BPS, CPHQ, Stroke Center Clinical Coordinator
As Stroke Center Clinical Coordinator since 2006, Roche collaborates with multiple hospital departments and functions in the development and ongoing monitoring of the operational system that supports care of stroke patients.
Roche obtained her Nursing degree at Mohawk Valley Community College and received a Bachelors degree in Health Services Management from SUNYIT. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a member of the American Association of Neurosciences Nurses, and board-eligible as a Certified Neurosciences Registered Nurse.
